Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt resolutions, which amend and restate the Emeryville Homeless Strategy, and implement some of the goals and action items in the strategy by authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Berkeley Food and Housing Project (BFHP) to provide case management and outreach services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Emeryville and to execute memorandums of understanding with the City of Oakland to fund the North County Family Front Door and the 2018-2019 Winter Shelter.
