Planning Director's report on Planning Commission actions at the March 22, 2018 meeting:
(a) Adeline Springs, 3637 Adeline Street - Public hearing to consider approval of a Conditional Use Permit and Design Review application to demolish an existing 5,866 square foot building (“U.S. Spring”) and to construct a new, five story building with 29 rental residential units and 4 to 6 live-work units.*
(b) Ocean View Townhomes, 1270 Ocean Avenue - Public hearing to consider approval of a Conditional Use Permit and Design Review Permit to demolish an existing single family home and replace it with a three-unit residential building.**
(c) Sprint Antennas on Water Tower, 1255 Powell Street - Public hearing to consider approval of a Design Review Permit to replace existing cell phone antennas and equipment on the water tower at the southeast corner of Doyle and Powell Streets.*
(d) AT&T Small Cell Wireless Facility, Adjacent to 1411 Powell Street - Study session on a proposed small cell wireless facility on an existing street light pole in the public right-of-way near the southeast corner of Powell and Peladeau Streets.
* Item subject to "call for review" (i.e. appeal) by motion of the City Council pursuant to Section 9-7.1406 of the Planning Regulations.
** Item requires City Council approval and is scheduled for City Council consideration on May 1, 2018.
