Recommendation

Staff recommends the City Council of the City of Emeryville adopt the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to extend the City’s agreement with TPx to provide fiber internet connectivity at City Hall and the Police Department for the City in the amount of  ninety nine thousand seven hundred and twenty dollars ($99,720), with allowance for changes based on future tax adjustments.  This extension will increase the existing bandwidth at each location from 100 Mbps to 250 Mbps while reducing the internet cost by $322 per month.
